For several reasons; firstly, the band is Danish, so the natural consequence was to find it on the side of a wide rock road, and secondly, the record was released in only a few hundred copies. I don't know what the chances of this team were in those years, but today the disc is of considerable interest - it is an example of hippie, unpredictable rock combining appropriate melodies, elements of symphonic and psychedelia with good improvisational, albeit not the most outstanding work of organ and guitar. The regional group can imagine what this meant on a small scale in Denmark and what opportunities they had. It was assembled in 1970 and in 1972 released the only LP at the tiny Quali-Sound recording studio in his native Aalborg. I think that these 500 modest vinyl prints were intended mainly for further promotion and were supposed to act as demos. Probably, there was also a proud distribution to familiar girls. But it turned out to be the peak of a failed career and the team soon fell apart. Nothing is known about the fate of its participants. Later, various studios attempted remastering with the naturally low quality of the original and the album was reissued twice with bonuses that are in no way inferior to the main material, and even surpassed. It's funny, but the band, which was completely unknown in the seventies, became the subject of collectors' searches and today, I emphasize, it is absolutely and rightly considered one of the samples of the acid underground. It turns out that the first press was not released in 500 copies as previously expected, but according to a letter from the record company Quali-Sound, only 153 copies!!! |
